JCB Telehandler Rental Rates UAE — Day & Month by Model

Telehandlers don't get rented at the same rate-per-tonne as cranes — the UAE market prices them per-lift-height and per-capacity-tier. This article gives the actual day and month rates currently being quoted across our network for the six JCB Loadall models we sell.

Telehandler rental market

JCB Loadalls are the dominant telehandler brand in the UAE rental market — Manitou and Bobcat are present but secondary. Rental demand is driven by residential/commercial building sites (move pallets up to scaffolding), warehouse builds, MEP fit-outs, and oil & gas sites needing material handling at height.

Rates below are with operator, 8-hour shift, indicative for mid-spec used 2016–2020 units in good condition.

Monthly rates

Typical 16–18× day rate for a 25-day month. Long-term project rates (6+ months commitment) drop to 14× day rate.

A 540-170 in long-term Dubai project hire runs around AED 25,000–30,000/month all-in. A 526-56 yard-tied on a smaller site sits around AED 12,000–14,000/month.

Regional variations

Telehandler rates are less geography-sensitive than crane rates — the unit is small enough that mobilisation is cheap and supply is more uniform across emirates. The 15–25% Dubai/AD premium reflects mostly the project type, not transport friction.

ADNOC-affiliated sites command a premium because pre-2014 units are typically excluded (engine tier & cab generation, see our JCB pre-2012 cliff article). The pool of eligible Loadalls is smaller; rates rise.
