Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Al Razzaq Construction Equipment & Machinery Trading CO. L.L.C S.O.C (trading as "Al Razzaq Machinery", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores and shares personal information when you browse this website (alrazzaq.ae), contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email, fill in a quote form, place an order, or visit our yard at Sajaa Industrial Area, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
1. Who is the data controller
The data controller for the personal information described in this policy is Al Razzaq Construction Equipment & Machinery Trading CO. L.L.C S.O.C, with its yard at Sajaa Industrial Area, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Contact for privacy matters: bazal@alrazzaq.ae · +971 55 486 2482.
2. What personal information we collect
| Category | Examples | How we obtain it |

| Order data | Equipment specifications you've requested, agreed price, delivery address, payment confirmations, invoices issued | You give it to us; generated by our internal records during a transaction |

| Technical & usage | IP address (truncated), browser type, device type, pages visited, referrer, approximate location (city/country level) | Automatically collected by our website and analytics providers |
| Advertising identifiers | Click IDs (e.g. Google Ads gclid), conversion event timestamps | Set by Google Ads when you arrive from a paid ad |
3. Why we use it (lawful basis)
- To respond to your quote, message or call — necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering a contract.
- To prepare proforma invoices, source equipment, arrange shipping and customs, deliver units and provide after-sale support — necessary to perform a contract with you.
- To comply with UAE law (tax invoicing, AML / KYC, customs and import documentation, dispute resolution) — necessary for compliance with our legal obligations.
- To improve the website and run advertising (analytics, conversion measurement, retargeting) — based on our legitimate interest in growing the business and your consent for non-essential cookies where required.
- To send occasional commercial messages (new arrivals, price drops on units we know you've enquired about) — only to existing or active enquiry contacts and only on the channel you used to contact us. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, sending an email, or asking on WhatsApp.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
- Strictly necessary — required for the page to load and the navigation to work. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics — for example Google Analytics, used to count visits and understand which catalogue pages are popular. Data is aggregated; we do not identify individual visitors from analytics alone.
- Advertising — Google Ads conversion and remarketing tags, used to measure which campaigns produce real enquiries and to show relevant ads on Google's network.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the site; blocking advertising cookies only affects how relevant the ads you see are.
5. Who we share data with
We don't sell your personal data. We do share it with the following categories of recipients, only to the extent strictly necessary:
- Sourcing partners and Chinese factories — when we need a quote on a specific unit you've requested, we share enough information for them to identify the requirement (typically equipment spec; we do not share your contact details unless you've explicitly asked us to introduce them).
- Freight forwarders, shipping lines and customs brokers — for shipment booking, customs declaration and inland transport. Limited to consignee name, delivery address and applicable identifiers.
- Banks and payment processors — for invoicing and the receipt of bank transfers.
- Government authorities — e.g. the UAE Federal Tax Authority, customs, traffic departments, courts, where we are required by law.
- Hosting and IT providers — Hostinger (web hosting), Google (analytics, ads, email security), WhatsApp / Meta (when you message us on WhatsApp). These providers process data on our behalf or, where they are independent controllers, in accordance with their own privacy policies.
- Professional advisers — lawyers, auditors, insurers, on a confidential basis, when needed.
6. International transfers
Because we source equipment from China and use international cloud providers, your personal data may be transferred outside the UAE, including to China, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and the United States. Where this happens we rely on contractual safeguards with the recipient and, where applicable, the appropriate cross-border transfer mechanisms recognised by UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021.
7. How long we keep it
- Quote enquiries that did not become orders: up to 24 months from last contact.
- Customer order, invoicing and customs records: at least 5 years from the date of the last invoice, in line with UAE tax and customs record-keeping rules.
- KYC / AML records: at least 5 years from the end of the business relationship, in line with UAE federal anti-money-laundering legislation.
- Website analytics: typically aggregated within 14 months.
8. How we protect it
We use TLS encryption on the website, reputable hosting (Hostinger), access controls on internal accounts and reasonable physical and organisational measures at our yard. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; in the unlikely event of a personal-data breach affecting your information we will notify you and the relevant UAE authority where required by law.
9. Your rights
Subject to UAE law and any applicable exemptions, you have the right to:
- Be informed about how we use your data (this policy);
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Request deletion of your data, where we no longer have a lawful basis to retain it;
- Object to direct marketing and withdraw consent for non-essential cookies;
- Request portability of the data you provided to us, in a structured machine-readable format;
- Lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office.
To exercise any of these rights, email bazal@alrazzaq.ae with the subject line "Privacy request". We will respond within 30 days and may ask for proof of identity.
10. Children
Our services are aimed at businesses and adults purchasing or operating construction equipment. The website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
11. Third-party links
Pages on this site may link to third-party websites — for example our TikTok page, manufacturer specification sheets, Google Maps for directions to the yard. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for at least 30 days.
13. Contact
Privacy questions, access requests and complaints can be sent to bazal@alrazzaq.ae or +971 55 486 2482 (call & WhatsApp). For our full terms see Terms & Conditions.
